Our solution utilizes the YOLOv10 model, trained to detect a wide range of objects, including:

  • Dangerous items (e.g., knives, guns)
  • License plates, enabling tracking of suspects across multiple camera feeds

Real-time Tracking and Editing

Users can quickly blur or edit objects of interest (SOI) throughout video footage. This functionality allows law enforcement personnel to manipulate videos without needing advanced technical skills. Instead of processing each frame manually, users can select objects to erase from the entire timeline with just a click.

Cloud-Based Processing

By leveraging AWS Batch, our software processes video footage efficiently in the cloud. Each job is handled individually, providing detailed statistics and assigned Object IDs. This architecture ensures rapid processing times and scalability.

User-Friendly Electron Application

We created a cross-platform Electron application compatible with various operating systems. This tool allows users to access video feeds, edit in real time, and view data securely through WebSockets, facilitating seamless collaboration among law enforcement agencies.

Efficient Exporting and Compatibility

Our tool supports exporting video in multiple formats, ensuring compatibility with various systems and applications. This feature streamlines workflows for both law enforcement and media outlets, significantly reducing the time required for video editing tasks.
