NimbleWork (formerly Digite) is an enterprise work management platform helping organizations streamline project execution and portfolio management. When critical performance issues began affecting their MongoDB infrastructure, they engaged Scalexa to conduct a comprehensive architecture review and implement enterprise-grade solutions to restore reliability and establish best practices.
The Challenge
NimbleWork's production MongoDB deployment was experiencing severe stability issues that threatened service availability. The infrastructure team identified recurring problems including replica set failures, connectivity issues between nodes, and resource misconfiguration that required immediate expert intervention.

This enterprise-grade solution replaced the limited Kubernetes Operator approach and provided the team with full visibility into their database infrastructure.

- Migrated from two-node to three-node replica set for proper fault tolerance

- Terraform used to codify VM provisioning, networking, and security group configurations for the MongoDB infrastructure
